Dublin Bus Tour
On Wednesday the 24th of October we went on the train at 9.02 from Donabate into Dublin City Centre. We met Phil our bus driver, he was really nice and funny ( Lily O’Dea).
The bus was parked on O’Connell Street and we talked about the 12om high Spire. Some true Dubs call the spire the passage to heaven. Phil then showed us the garden of remembrance, a garden on Parnell square to remember all the people who passed away in the 1916 rising.
We traveled all around Dublin city hearing facts about customs house, Jeanie Johnston, Christ Church and many more. We got out in the Phoenix Park but unfortunately the deer were hiding from us!
We though the tour was great and recommend it for other classes!!( Aoife Burke and Jessica Hannigan)
